Executive producer Mario Domina of ThunderBall Films, LLC (formerly MFD Entertainment, LLC) discovered Lori Queirolo and her script, 'Odyssey,' on InkTip recently. Mr. Domina, through an exclusive option agreement, will package and set up the project with his manager, Anita Haeggstrom of Contemporary Talent Partners, as a scripted television series. 'Odyssey' recently won the Acclaim contest, and this is the first option for Queirolo.

Kurt Burk of KBA Films has hired scribe Jerry Jennings, who he found through InkTip, to co-write an adaptation of the 1985 critically acclaimed novel 'Murder in the Family' by Marc Brandell. The story is a dark comedy about life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for an incestuous death obsessed blue-blooded American crime family protecting their Connecticut farm from the clutches of the CIA. This is the first hire for Jennings who recently won first place in the drama category of the Gotham City Screenwriting Competition for his script 'Stellunia' based on his non-fiction Holocaust memoir, 'Stella's Secret' published by Xlibris in January 2005.

Rose has had much success with her scripts having recently won the Disney Fellowship with a script she wrote for them in the program. Fire Frame Productions is based in Honolulu, HI. 'Dragonman' is a series of published novels and screenplays that will be developed as a franchise by Mr. Domina, his manager and creator-writer-author, Ted Lazaris of DragonMan Productions. Heinrich Dahms of Buzzmedia Network has optioned 'Thugs,' a classical gangland screenplay by award-winning Hollywood-based British screenwriter Max Myers. Dahms discovered Myers script on InkTip. Myers is also a professor of Screenwriting at Columbia College, Los Angeles. The film is to be directed by Netherlands-based director Dahms who previously wrote and directed, among other things, the 1993 Miramax thriller, 'My Daughter's Keeper.' Start of production of the film, which is entirely set in New York City, is scheduled for early 2007.

The project, about a womanizing, corporate CEO who wakes up to find himself in an alternate world where everything is run by the opposite sex, was recently shopped to over fifty of the top production companies in Hollywood. Peter Kent's script The White Crane was discovered on InkTip by producer/director Romel Bowens of Plan B. Bowens was searching for a very specific script and found what he needed in Kent's work. Bowens has directed music videos as well as narrative films, and is looking for a producer in the action/adventure genre to come onboard. Kent is the host and producer/writer of the TV show Stuntdawgs, a 13-episode reality/documentary on the science of stunts. It will be released in January on the Movie Channel and TMN.

Producer Jeff Maynard has notified us that Gold Pictures has optioned "A Christmas Tail" and that Jenni Gold has signed on to direct. Gold Pictures is an independent production company with offices located on the Universal Studios backlot. Mr. Maynard informed us that this will be one of three family films that Gold Pictures is producing.

Alexia loved the concept of Massimo's script 'Stonehenge' and is now representing Massimo. Little Studio Films is a fully integrated production, management and consulting company. Their background is worldwide distribution, packaging and finance. Little Studio Films is currently in pre-production on a TV Pilot called "Central Booking" starring Al Sapienza (The Sopranos), Jarrod Bunch (NY Giants quarterback) and Javier Morga (One Life To Live). Kraig Wenman's script been optioned by Barbara Hart of Hart Entertainment and Molding Clay Productions. Molding Clay Productions is currently in preproduction in Texas on a horror film. Rock Road Media then entered into a deal with Matthew for two additional properties – one of them titled 'Celebrity Bookie'. 'The Business Plan' stars famed television pitchman, Mathew Lesko. RRCG/EMCI and Gibbons developed a programming strategy designed to cross Lesko over into mainstream television. 'Celebrity Bookie' is slated to star host Louie Lombardi (24 and the Sopranos) along with four other well known gambler/celebrities from the world of film, television, comedy and music. They will review the week in sports, and place real money bets on the weekend match ups. RRCG and Gibbons made their first deal less than 30 days ago for the program.
